The Executive Committee
To exercise the Council’s functions between Council meetings.
The Education Committee
To supervise the training of nurses.
The Examinations Committee
To deal with issues relating to examinations of the nurses both basic and post basic courses.
The Business and Finance Committee
To deal with Council’s financial issues.
The Practice Control Committee
To look into matters concerning practice of the nurse.
The Audit and Risk Management Committee
To deal with issues of corporate governance, audit and enterprise risk management.

OUR COMMITTEE
To effectively execute its statutory mandate under the Health Professions Act, the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe operates through specialized Standing Committees. These committees are comprised of Council members and co-opted experts who review technical matters, formulate policies, and make recommendations to the full Council for final approval.
Through these committees, the NCZ ensures rigorous oversight, transparency, and fairness across all sectors of nursing and midwifery.
